• I joined PAD while it was set up as a pilot in a couple of districts in one of the states in India. During my tenure, I was fortunate to-
• 1. Lead the the organization and strike key partnerships with both central & state governments/bodies, which enabled us to rapidly expand to 700,000+ (MAU > 50%) farmers across 60+ districts in 6 states
• 2. Grew the team from 15 to 170+, which included setting up the internal tech/product team
• 3. Played a key role in finalizing and setting up the legal Indian entity, and also served as a founding board member
• I worked along with an excellent set of folks spread across countries/continents and humbly proud of the growth and achievements during my time and beyond.

• Prepared Strategy and successfully implemented the project on- “Re-inventing the supply chain of maize in Bihar”
• Selected, trained and led a team of 24 professionals in a high pressure environment and challenging terrain
• Commenced and supervised buying of maize at 4 different centre across three different districts
• Successfully procured more than 36000 Metric tonnes (MT) of excellent quality maize
• Shortened the value chain and expanded vendor base to village level traders and farmers
• Key Achievements:
• 2% cost advantage in buying as compared to market rate – savings of INR ~8 million
• Incremental contribution worth ~30 million in feed at buying price and replacement price comparison
• Buying at source led to better quality maize and feed – increased feed market share in the East & Central BU

• Performed In-depth Interviews with 130+ people including manufacturers, entrepreneurs, industry experts, researchers
• Conducted Research & Analysis of post-harvest technologies across 22 cities/towns of 10 states in India; gathered info from 6 countries
• Identified 79 novel technologies; suggested 4 technologies and 4 target companies for investment after analysis
