Akshay Bhargava — CEO
Am a business leader with 35+ years at Tata Consultancy Services, shaped by a career that has spanned strategy, operations, delivery governance, people development, and ethical leadership across technology, government, education, and financial services. What has always mattered most to me is building an organisation where performance and integrity go hand in hand. Over the years, have led large, multi geography business units; strengthened operational and financial discipline; and worked closely with senior leadership on governance, risk awareness, and organisational alignment. Have also had the privilege of serving in culture shaping roles — Ethics Councillor, DEI Champion, Neurodiversity Lead, and Talent Development Leader — experiences that deepened my belief in fairness, inclusion, and the power of people centric leadership. Beyond the corporate world, have also been an active voice in industry and academia, representing TCS at NASSCOM, CII, CACCI, and various embassies, and serving on Boards of Studies across multiple universities. Speaking to students, faculty, and leaders has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey. Today, am focused on contributing to organisations that value thoughtful oversight, ethical governance, and long term capability building — especially across technology, education, and social impact ecosystems maybe as an Independent Director / advisory roles, which I aspire for in the future. If our paths align, am always open to meaningful conversations.
