Hi there, I'm Sian! 👋 I’m a medical affairs and scientific communications strategy professional with 9 years in biopharma and 20+ years across med comms, scientific storytelling, and strategic leadership. My superpower? Translating complex science into strategic, impactful narratives that support decision-making — from early asset development through to global launch. My path into pharma wasn’t traditional (and I’m proud of that). With a background in biochemistry and biomedical science, I started in competitive intelligence — attending global congresses, gathering insights, and building reports to guide strategic planning. That early exposure to commercial thinking set the tone for the rest of my career. From there, I grew through med comms and agency life — writing, editing, pitching, and winning global accounts — before going in-house. Since then, I’ve worked across early (Phase I/II) and peri-launch strategy at Roche and now lead scientific communications in early oncology pipeline at GSK.
