Indians deserved sneakers that fit well, look good, and don't burn a hole in their pocket. That became the vision for Bacca Bucci. In 2013, "internet shopping" meant waiting 15 days for delivery. Flipkart was selling books. Amazon hadn't entered India. The word "D2C" didn't exist. We piloted for every marketplace that came and went - eBay, Naaptol, HomeShop18, Jabong, AskMe Bazaar, Times Shopping. We lost money on some, made money on others, and learned everything about what survives and what doesn't.
