About

I follow the fast water. I go where emerging capability meets unmet need, and I build there. In 2014, I co-founded REALABS inside REA Group and built the world's first VR property portal. We shipped 3D scanning and virtual reality property tours in Australian real estate before the industry knew what to do with them. That team and that bet taught me what it looks like when a technology is about to reshape an entire sector. I have been writing code for 25 years. I have built and led teams, but I have never been the kind of leader who stops writing code. Across startups, public companies, and my own consultancy, the pattern has always been the same: find the frontier, ship something real, move on when the water slows down. For the last few years I have been deep in LLMs and AI. I consulted with Scout24 and AutoScout24 on AI adoption and architecture. I embedded with engineering teams to ship production systems. Code, not slide decks. Now I am building two things. The first is an AI-native property portal. Not bolting AI features onto a legacy platform. Building from scratch with AI at the foundation: conversational search, intelligent matching, agent-driven workflows. Real estate is the testbed. The architecture is designed to deploy anywhere. The kind of product that could not have existed two years ago. The second is multi-agent development tooling. A system where AI agents collaborate on codebases with human oversight, including LLM-based priority arbitration and merge coordination. I built it because I needed it. Turns out the problem is not getting one AI to write code. It is getting several of them to ship together without breaking everything. I have visited 58 countries as a digital nomad. Now I am settling in Berlin with my partner and my English Cocker Spaniel. If any of this overlaps with what you are working on, I am easy to find.

  • I worked with the team to rewrite the Autoscout24 detail page using a next.js, typescript and graphQL stack.
  • This project was challenging because it included a lot more focus on the look and feel of the detail page (something that hasn't been a forte previously). Making the page behave correctly with different devices (responsive). Presenting content and data according to the Sketch/Invision designs.
  • Supported the translation and localization of the content for the different markets.
  • Mapped data from the backend into a usable format.
  • Ported the 360° viewers (something I have previous experience in)

  • Product studio and consultancy. I build things at the frontier of emerging technology.
  • Currently building an AI-native property portal from the ground up. Conversational search, intelligent matching, agent-driven workflows. Real estate is the proving ground. The architecture is designed to work anywhere.
  • Also building multi-agent development tooling. AI agents collaborating on shared codebases with human oversight, LLM-based priority arbitration, and automated merge coordination. Born out of necessity when I needed multiple agents shipping code on the same project without breaking each other.
  • Earlier products include Twirrl (360° product photography) and several other experiments across e-commerce and SaaS.
  • Consulting clients have included Scout24, AutoScout24, LuxuryEscapes, Partmax (as acting CTO), and Zolidar.
