• As founder and editor of the Madison Business Review (MBR), an award-winning business-focused publication that launched through The Breeze — JMU's student-run newspaper — in April 2020, I envisioned, established, and oversaw the MBR by conceiving and developing the idea; pitching it to The Breeze; recruiting a staff; training the staff to pitch, write, and submit articles; coaching MBR staff writers; working with Breeze editors; speaking with advisers; editing every story for style, content, and accuracy; preparing stories for posting by creating site assets, which involved finding and selecting images, writing photo captions, placing images and links to articles in the story, writing article descriptions, selecting keywords for search engine optimization and preparing them to post; scheduling stories for social media; and writing 57 stories of my own with original research. The MBR earned over 123,000 views in the 365 days I ran it.

• The Madison Investment Fund is a student-led investment fund at James Madison University. The Fund serves as an outside money manager to the James Madison University Foundation. The MIF provides a real-world, professional forum where members learn the fundamentals of investing and basics of financial theory while fulfilling the fiduciary duties associated with portfolio management.

Throughout my time with Vector, I professionally cultivated clients from the point of contact to close 255 times through one-on-one appointments with an average order of $393 and accumulated an active network of over 2,000 qualified clients through referrals.
• As an assistant manager with Vector Marketing from June 2018 to August 2018, I coached and oversaw the growth and development of a sales team of more than 15 representatives in the 12th-highest performing new branch office in the company. I was selected early on as a team leader by management, ran team meetings in the absence of the head manager, assisted with recruitment, and scheduled interviews. Additionally, I helped implement and develop a business plan for the second-ranked branch office in the Eastern region while helping establish a positive team culture in a new office.
