I'm a business journalist, and recently graduated from Columbia with a mid-career masters in business and economics journalism. Before this, I led Reuters’ deals and M&A coverage in India- including IPOs, private equity, venture capital and corporate M&A. I scooped some of the biggest deals in these two years, and wrote hard-hitting enterprise stories. Before that, at India's top business news outlet Moneycontrol, I wrote on startups and venture capital Subjects of my coverage included SoftBank, Sequoia, Tiger Global, Byju's, Ola and Zomato. I have scooped their deals, layoffs, acquisitions and wrote colourful long-form pieces on their inner workings and decision making. I also revealed fraud at a VC-backed startup. At my first job in top Indian business daily Mint, I wrote on deals, VCs and startups. In my first year in journalism I wrote multiple front-page stories, including Alibaba changing its India investment strategy. I completed my gradate diploma from Asian College Of Journalism- Bloomberg, Asia's premier financial journalism program. I love analyzing and diving into news and businesses.
