I’m a senior data science leader with a PhD in machine learning and computer vision, bringing both deep technical expertise and proven commercial leadership. My career began in 2008 at Malaysia’s National Sports Institute, where I eventually headed the Technology & Innovation department. At Tennis Australia, my computer vision models powered real-time stats for the Australian Open broadcast. I later established and led the data science team at EDGE10, before joining Betfair’s senior leadership to shape and scale their data science strategy. Today, as Head of Data Science & Product at Polemos, I report directly to the CEO, leading cross-functional teams across data engineering, product design, UIUX, and QA. Under my leadership, we’ve taken the platform from MVP to a full-fledged Web3 gaming ecosystem, culminating in a public release in June 2025.
