• Highlights:
• Developed a customized mini-MRP solution to mitigate manufacturing risks associated with an outdated ERP system. This initiative effectively eliminated the risks of utilizing expired input materials—previously occurring twice a month—and extended the planning horizon from same-day to a forward-looking five weeks.
• Created a tailored inventory model grounded in supply chain best practices, recommending optimized stocking levels for 4,500 SKU locations. This model incorporated 50m rows of data into easily refreshable calculations, which were previously unattainable using manually managed spreadsheets.
• Established key Supply Chain metrics with C-suite executives and built automated reporting including root-cause analyses.
• Designed and implemented a tracking system to proactively manage Slow Moving and Obsolete stock (SLOBs), streamlining a previously manual and cumbersome process. This system enabled a monthly review of $15 million in SLOBs.
• Engineered an inventory tracking mechanism to monitor daily variations by location and SKU, as well as to provide forward projections to enhance forecasting efforts.

• Established a centralised procurement department, including policies, processes and strategic procurement methodologies in a historically decentralized organisation.
• Secured almost $7m of cost reductions and built a best-practice supplier risk management system.
