• Preparing corrosion loops, identifying CMLs and finalising inspection strategy as per envisaged corrosion damage mechanism.
• Inspecting pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping , reactors, heaters, PSVs. Preparing inspection plan and its inspection method including techniques of NDTs.
• Carrying out root cause analysis for failure with TRIPOD team and preparing reports with all necessary recommendations.
• Perform Turnaround inspections, failure diagnosis and recommend repairs and preventive measures
• Continuous review of corrosion monitoring systems, maintenance operations and in-house mechanical fabrication/ welding specifications.
• Carry out on-stream condition monitoring of static equipment including piping and QA/QC of all maintenance activities and project work to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Identify the type of corrosion / deterioration to the equipment or piping and initiate appropriate monitoring methods in consultation with process engineers.
• Prepare job lists for shutdown testing and inspection (T&I) requirements for all equipment and piping circuits and participates to finalize the T&I scope of work.
• Active participation in Route Cause Analysis (RCA) of any failure for static equipment/ piping related problems. Based on the analysis, providing recommendations viz. metallurgy/ material upgrade, process related controls, design changes etc. to avoid recurrence of failure in same or identical other units.
• Prepare the maintenance assistance, inspection test plans , finalize the inspection strategies , manage the manpower, outsource the different inspection vendors such as PEC, AET,IRIS, boroscopy vendors
• Actively take part in external and internal safety audit, PSSR audit, MOC review meeting

• Joined Reliance IND LTD in FOPE(Field Operator & Plant Engineer) Program.
• Worked as maintenance engineer in Refinery's Hydrogen & Merox plant during this program.
• Experienced on Plants equipments like Heat exchanger, compressor, pump, reactor, fin fans, piping, pressure vessels.
• Gain knowledge of man power management ,spare management and learn SAP system for job planning.
• Part of a team doing root cause analysis of compressor piston ring and rider rings failures.
• Have experience of planned shutdowns and unplanned breakdowns due to failures in steam generators.
