About

Curious by nature and driven by systems, I’m a founder focused on using technology, finance, and design to make everyday life simpler and more empowering. My journey has been unconventional. I wrote my first line of code at 9, earned my first paycheck at 11, left home at 14, and sold my first company at 16. After two early exits by the age of 19, I went on to build The Indian Wire, an online publication aimed at empowering the next generation of Indian internet users, particularly those accessing the internet in their native languages. At 18, I was recognised by multiple digital and print publications as one of the youngest Indian CEOs. After spending several years outside formal education, I returned to academia to study law, driven by a desire to better understand the legal and financial systems that shape businesses and markets. I later completed a Master’s degree in International Financial Law from King’s College London, where I deepened my interest in financial regulation, global markets, and institutional finance. I briefly worked at HSBC before returning to India to build my next venture. I am currently the founder of Finanjo, an AI-powered personal finance assistant for young Indians. Finanjo’s mission is simple: to make money feel less overwhelming and help individuals build discipline and confidence in managing their finances. Alongside this, I lead Backstage with Millionaires (Towards Ventures), an entrepreneurial media and community platform that brings together founders, operators, and investors. Through content, conversations, and collaboration, we aim to showcase the Indian startup ecosystem and explore innovative ways for non-institutional and individual investors to participate in India’s growth story. I am deeply involved with the student and young founder community, having spoken at 300+ schools and colleges across the country, and serving as a mentor to multiple institutions. My long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to the next generation of builders and leaders shaping India’s future. If you’re building something ambitious or want to exchange ideas on startups, finance, or technology, feel free to reach out.
