• The platform that everyone said would break under volume didn't. The database that crashed without latest backup, got recovered, using reverse engineered log files. The engineers who said it couldn't scale were wrong.
• That experience taught me something about how the human mind operates under pressure that took me another 20 years to fully understand. It became the first chapter of my book.
