Born and raised in Kolkata, Naman Dalmia completed his schooling at St. James’ School, graduated with a B.Com (H) from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, & earned an MBA (HR) from SBM, NMIMS Mumbai. He is a dynamic professional with a strong foundation in management practices & a proven track record in talent acquisition, learning & organisational development, performance management system & digitisation, talent management, industrial relations, change management, HRBP, employee engagement and hosting. He is currently working as a Management Consulting Analyst in Accenture Strategy & Consulting. Previously, he deepened his HR expertise as an Associate Manager at Jindal Stainless Limited after gaining hands-on experience in each of the HR functions during his immersive Management Trainee period. He also won Champion of Participation Award by group CHRO in HR Offsite. Naman believes in maintaining a balance between academics and extracurricular activities, evidenced by his district-level award for ISC results and scholarships during his undergraduate studies. He participated in a student exchange program in China, moderated his school’s MUN conference for 2 years & mentored 100+ students in Economics, Maths, Commerce, and CV building. As an undergraduate, he worked as a MT in Palak Fashion Pvt Ltd wherein he designed a comprehensive workforce plan & managed sales to optimize performance & did internship at DKS & Co. where he designed job specification & handled compensation & benefits & day-day maintenance of registers During MBA, he was recognized as National HR Icon 2023 for being runners up in national level & winner in campus level in the IHRM National HR Championship. His summer internship at Wipro & winter internship in Phoenix Global enhanced his HR knowledge, particularly in reimagining employee onboarding & understanding employee lifecycle. With 3+ years of diverse HR experience across 6 companies, Naman is IHRM-certified as a HRBP & holds a KPMG Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. His varied experiences have sharpened his teamwork skills & strategic thinking. In the short run, he aims to deepen his HR & cross-functional knowledge & in the long run he aspires to lead a large organisation.
