• The idea was to develop a 1:1 concept sports car for IED and Italdesign, which targets young professionals in search of a practical, affordable yet sporty option. The brief itself exposed a gap in the market and allowed designing something new and unique.
• My particular role was in the Exterior Design team, which was responsible for all exterior design proposals and details that the final model would embody.
• Extensive research of the user needs, likes and dislikes, focusing more on how the design could be cool but practical at the same time.
• Numerous ideations for the front facial expression, rear design, overall look and feel, and the proportions.
• Attention to minute details like headlamp design, tail lamp design - taking into consideration modern technology used for lighting, integrating intricate patterns that compliment the design, in turn enhancing the expression and emotion of the car as a whole.
• Involvement in the design of the roof and its functionality that would serve as a unique selling point of the concept.
• Final renderings on Photoshop for press release - exploring and trying new sketching and rendering styles that suit the design and emotion.
• Final thesis presentation layout and organisation of work done for the entire project.
• Overall, this project was the key milestone of my study at IED as a transportation designer, giving me the taste of how work is done in the professional world. Collaboration with team mates, collaboration with other teams and realising a design sketch from idea to reality was the most rewarding and insightful part of the entire project. This project has given me the confidence to enter the Automobile design industry and has reminded me why I chose this field as my career path!

• Collaborated with CNH and Martini to explore the world of harvesters, vineyards, and manufacturing processes.
• Utilized Industrial Design background to create innovative solutions for grape harvesting, emphasizing teamwork and meeting deadlines.
• The key takeaways from this experience were teamwork, respect for deadlines, punctuality, and the integration of design and technology to come up with a complete and successful project for both collaborating brands.
