About

A dinner-table idea became a ₹200+ crore ice cream brand. I began my career in marketing and business development, working with global organizations like Kamal Osman Jamjoom and many more. Later, as Brand Director for a leading beauty brand, I led a turnaround that reversed a two-year sales decline and built a private label generating $100M in annual revenue, but the real challenge came in 2015. Rollick Ice Cream, a beloved Kolkata brand founded in 1989, was at a turning point. I, with my partner, took over the business with one clear mission: Transform Rollick from a regional favorite into a high-growth consumer brand. We focused on three things: strengthening the brand, expanding distribution, and innovating products. The results: • 5× business growth in 8 years • Expansion to 14 Indian states • 20,000+ retail outlets • 600 pushcarts • 500+ distributors • Modern manufacturing facilities in Kolkata and Ranchi. Today, Rollick is one of Eastern India’s leading frozen dessert brands. My vision is to build Rollick into a billion-dollar brand, driven by innovation, contributing 40% of revenue. Outside work, I’m passionate about travel, running, and reading. I aim to read 50 books every year. Success isn’t just about numbers; it’s about building people, unlocking potential, and turning ideas into reality, one scoop at a time.
