Ivo Božić — Director of Engineering

Ivo works in leveraged finance at Raiffeisen Bank International AG ("RBI") where he provides acquisition debt financing to leading private equity funds and large corporates. His main duties are analysis of financing requests and preparation of financing proposals by determination of commercial prospects, deal feasibility and credit risk. His main focus is on tech companies. Ivo is as well a member of the Board of Advisors for RBI´s product Digital Basket where RBI provides loans to scaleups, such as Glovo (total volume of Digital Basket is EUR 250m). Before his current role, Ivo worked in mergers & acquisitions at Raiffeisen Bank International AG and as a management consultant at BCG. Throughout his career he had a privilege to work with names such as McDonald´s, Pepsico and Infobip, among others. Ivo holds an MSc Finance from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Financial and Business Mathematics from the University of Zagreb. During his experiences, Ivo developed expertise in following areas: Share purchase agreements/SFA/term sheet structuring and negotiations | Fundraising | Business plan development | financial modelling|valuation (DCF, multiples, LBO) | Commercial law | Optimizing financial structure (debt & equity financing) | Strategy development (growth levers, go-to market etc.) | Data driven decision making (KPIs etc…) Ivo is fluent in Croatian/Serbian, English and German.
