Being a Software Development Engineer with Advanced Embedded Computing Group (AECG) of AMD, my prime responsibilities include :
1) Analyzing and debugging the performance aspects of Vivado Design Suite, IPs and configurable example designs by generating automation test scripts and regressions based testcases.
2) Constantly engage with design and marketing teams to conduct deep dive analysis on design limitations, performance issues and other bottlenecks of multiple IPs, Configurable Example Designs (CEDs) and hardware board design files.
3) Troubleshoot, test and analyze the latest recurring releases (major and minor) of Vivado Design Suite by creating test designs and report for future enhancements.
4) Resolve issues found in Synthesis, Implementation and Simulation, thereby achieving proficiency in Design Flow and Hardware Description Languages.
5) Undergo various trainings and Learn new technical aspects which are introduced in newer Vivado releases.
Achievements : Nominated and won the Innovator Award (Q1 : 2022), for the design and development of innovative methodologies to extend the automated Vivado device coverage to Vitis for all Versal devices. The technique allowed efficient regression based testing and validation of over 900 SoC parts to support complex configurable example designs.
