• Below are the projects i have completed as a part of this company.
• 1. Display & Selection of CAE Geometry, UGS Corp (May 2005 – February 2006)
• Description: A facetted model data structure and functionality implemented to primary model representation in the NX4 CAE structures application. The facetted model data structure needs to be displayed in the appropriate way so that is fully recognized & enjoy the benefits of display as well as selection control. Some basic supports are required from application perspective i.e. Graphical Object Display, Gateway Commands, Quick Pick etc.
• Accomplishment: All gateway commands coordinated with new data structure.
• 2. Abstraction functionality and expanded architecture, UGS Corporation ( October 2004 – May 2005)
• Description: The substantial shift from Vector Model Data to Facetted Model Data architecture brought a lot of challenges in UI, APIs, Functionalities and a complete support is required to respond.
• Accomplishments: An extensive MATH library support is provided for Tessellated geometries i.e. all mathematical computations (e.g. distance, intersection, angle, area etc.) are supported in this new module.
• 3. Motion NX/OPEN enhancements, UGS Corporation (October 2003 – May 2004)
• Description: Scenario for Motion is an integrated, associative CAE tool of NX that provides comprehensive mechanism modeling and analysis capabilities. It is used to simulate and evaluate mechanical systems for such characteristics as large displacements, complex range of motion, accelerations, forces, lock-up positions, work envelopes, and object interference. Certain User Interface and functionality enhancements are needed to provide more usability. The project was sponsored by General Motors.
• Accomplishment: Design, architect and execute new UI dialogs for Spring, Damper, Scaller Force and Scalar Torques.
