• I had one client for 10 months, Vaisala Oy. Did both frontend work with React, TypeScript, HTML & CSS and DevOps work with Jenkins, JFrog, Docker, AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK. Also worked a bit with Java Spring Boot and NestJS APIs.

• While working at Polar Squad, together with our team at Sevendos, we built the initial version of an LLM-based text- and voice-translator for our customer Tulka relying on ChatGPT-4o's capabilities. While I was leading the project, we built a cloud infrastructure on Azure, a backend API to process the conversation and a web-based application for mobile devices that users could use to converse in a given language pair. The translations were then saved and could be re-used for general purposes.

• PipeCloud wanted to modernize their AWS stack and allow their developers to focus on their frontend and backend work, while I put my attention on making sure that the operational side runs smoothly. Together with PipeCloud, I finalized a partially complete migration from one AWS account to AWS organizations, working with tools like Beanstalk, Fargate, Route 53, IAM, S3, EFS, RDS, CDK, and more.

• This was a customer case while I was working at Polar Squad. Smartly was going through the process of migrating one of their key codebases from TypeScript to python taking care of a backend API serving as a front for their machine learning algorithms in the field of social media marketing, so that its team of data scientists could better handle it and use more adapted tools. During this migration, I had to migrate Terraform code to AWS CDK in python, maintain TypeScript backend code while also porting that same code to python, counsel the team on orchestrating this migration to avoid pitfalls and collaborate with the frontend engineers relying on the backend API I was working on.

• Staiy was an e-commerce startup in the area of sustainable fashion. When I joined the company, it was still trying to ramp up sales and internal processes, both at the technical and business level. It was my mission to scale the tech department, collaborate with the operations team, ensure quality of our processes and develop the software together with our team. I built a prototype of a machine-learning image-based search engine for fashion products, re-did the entire website together with our design team and fixed countless backend integration issues present in the stack I inherited from the first day I joined, while simultaneously scaling the software development team from me to 5-10 people over the course of the first 18 months.
• After a 500,000 euros investment, the company wanted to scale down its technology costs to focus on the brand of the company by moving to Shopify; at that moment, I decided to leave the company and pursue more ambitious technical goals. Staiy was sold to IVALO in 2024.
