Dawn Rhea De Raedt founded RIC Consulting in 2000, with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and a vast and robust international reach. A developer: of data, analytics & business intelligence; of companies, strategy, leadership, staff, solutions, clients and next generation thinking; she has cultivated a performance and value embedded company committed to growing and ensuring that true value is created and realised - for both employees and clients. Born, bred, and daily delivered through RIC’s name, she heads up and epitomises a really intelligent company, using really intelligent solutions, by really intelligent people, to create really intelligent value, for really intelligent clients with really intelligent partners. Having matriculated from Lichtenburg High School in 1992, Dawn completed the VZAP (Van Zyl and Pritchards) Programming course, at the top of her class, in 1998. Prior to founding RIC Consulting, Dawn worked at DCS for eight months until the company was sold, at which point she moved to PQ Africa (BCX) where she worked for a year before leaving to start her own company. Her position at both organisations was that of BI Consultant where her main responsibilities included BI and Data warehouse development. While continuously working towards becoming the world class Qlik partner, across all industry sectors, she lives her passion of working with and delving into data (structured and unstructured, chaotic and organised, known and unknown) to uncover vital information that can be used to add value to businesses for sustainability of success, bottom line profitability and leveled up performance. Inspired by her deep desire to equip others, she spearheaded RIC’s Intern Programme, equipping graduates to become the next BI specialists in a global skills short market. A dynamic woman, heading best and first in class endeavors to meet the demands of ever-changing business, in an agile, bottom line, focused, approach.
