Throughout my career, I’ve been most energized by product work where unlocking complexity creates outsized value for customers. I care deeply about building systems that move fast without becoming opaque, and about product decisions that scale without losing the human thread. That complexity has taken different forms over time, from deep systems and industry complexity in areas like semiconductor manufacturing and computer vision, to socially complex applied AI systems where trust and real-world consequences mattered as much as technical performance. At Amazon, it showed up at global consumer scale. I worked on early iterations of cloud gaming (Luna) and on personalized shopping experiences, improving how hundreds of millions of customers discovered and purchased products. Today, at Netflix, I focus on discovery and personalization, shaping how recommendations, context, and presentation come together to help members across devices and cultures choose quickly with confidence. My latest work includes thoughtful applications of generative AI in this space, where it can materially and reliably improve the experience.
