As the GM of Marketing at Ather Energy, I successfully launched the Ather 450, managed both brand and performance marketing, and built a community of over 10K passionate brand ambassadors. Prior to this, I founded Lumos, a Wearable Tech startup, where I developed smart backpacks sold in over 50 countries. My early career at Tejas Networks saw me contributing to a revenue growth of 12X. With a B.Tech in Computer Science from IITM and an MBA from IIMB, I have consistently excelled in understanding consumer insights, improving product features, and leading impactful marketing initiatives.   • During this period, I worked on a range of initiatives across strategy, growth and new initiatives, including:
  • 1. Shaping growth strategy across Internshala’s key verticals including internships, fresher jobs and skilling.
  • 2. Identifying and building new growth opportunities leveraging Internshala’s strong distribution among college students across India.
  • 3. Working on initiatives to deepen customer understanding and improve long-term candidate retention on the platform.
  • 4. Exploring product and ecosystem opportunities around career guidance and employability outcomes.
  • 5. Supporting strategic planning and growth experiments across the platform. I directly oversaw Performance Marketing as a function until we hired someone.
  • 6. Supported the fund-raising and merger and acquisition conversations and pitches.
  • More broadly, the role involved thinking through how Internshala could expand its market share and strengthen its position as the starting point for students’ careers in India.
  • Personally, I truly enjoyed working closely with Sarvesh during this phase. The journey ended sooner than I would've liked when Internshala exited to upGrad. While that meant my role came to a close earlier than anticipated, I’m genuinely happy that Internshala found an apt home for its next stage of growth.

The whole intention is for it to read out personalized image stories to him with him as the hero alongside his favorite characters. Loved the process, and am Exploring if there is something more that can be done in this space.

  • 3. https://www.musicgenerationai.com/ - a product that gives detailed feedback on your Instagram Reels including its content, music and visuals.
  • Did a lot of exploration on ai tools and products. I do believe that Indian startups will need to build very strong applications. That's our strength and the underlying infra tailwinds are massive!
