Before this, I worked in venture capital at Enzia Ventures, and earlier at Yunus Social Business, investing in founders building in education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. What drew me in was simple. I liked being close to people who are trying to solve hard, real problems, and backing them with capital. Before venture capital, I was part of the early team at The Convergence Foundation building Accelerate Indian Philanthropy. My work there was focused on supporting efforts to mobilise and deploy philanthropic capital for social good. We worked closely with some of the leading philanthropists in India and globally, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Rohini Nilekani and Amit Chandra. Across both experiences, I've been focused on how capital flows, how it is deployed, and how those decisions translate into meaningful impact on the ground. I started out in economics and public policy. At PRS Legislative Research, I was a LAMP Fellow, working with Members of Parliament on research and legislative work. I later worked at Central Square Foundation, where I engaged with government initiatives and institutions like CBSE to improve foundational literacy and numeracy outcomes at scale. These experiences gave me a grounding in how systems work, and how policy, capital, and execution come together. I am very curious. I read a lot, write often, and enjoy exploring ideas across economics, policy, and technology. I am drawn to conversations that challenge how I think, and I like going deep on questions that matter.
