The path to sustainability has been an extraordinary journey so far and I am privileged to be a part of this global transformation. I am currently the Chief Sustainability Officer at Standard Chartered Bank as of July 2022. I joined from Credit Suisse where I held several sustainability-related roles, including serving as Chief Sustainability Officer and CEO of the Impact Advisory and Finance Group, which I founded in 2017. Prior to my sustainability focus, I spent more than 30 years as an Investment banker. From 2013 – 2017, I was Co-Head of the EMEA Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division of Credit Suisse and prior to that, I ran the firm's capital markets businesses. In my current role as CSO, I am responsible for driving the sustainability strategy of the bank, which includes what Standard Chartered does as an organisation but also our advisory and financing activities for and on behalf of our clients.
