About

Over the last 20 + years I have lived and worked in Mumbai, New York, London and Auroville. My work has been varied and I have worked in multi-billion dollar companies, international NGOs and start-ups across sectors. I started my career in the financial sector and have gone on to work on climate change, human rights, and more specifically, women’s economic inclusion. Some of the countries I have worked in/with, include India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Kenya, Saudi Arabia & UAE. While the countries, sectors, and issues may have varied, I have developed a unique strength in understanding how systems and behaviours change - working on trailblazing big ideas that have impacted millions of people and working to institutionalise a new normal in business and society. I have a track record of taking conceptual ideas and programs from the nascent stage to phenomenal growth and creating eco-systems that foster stability to continued growth. Big ideas, shifting blocks in mind-sets, changing behaviours, and bringing a positive change in society – these are some of the drivers of my career. The inspiring force behind my career is the network of phenomenal people I have developed through my professional work, business school at INSEAD, and most importantly, my volunteer work & Board positions. I am also of the firm belief that financial and economic security for women is a fundamental right. Financial literacy is a must, not just about budgets and savings; but also wealth creation through investing especially for low income women. **Posts on LinkedIN reflect my personal views**

Worked on building entrepreneurial ecosystems across the Global South with a focus on India, Bangladesh, East & West Africa.
