• I was part of a global advanced analytics team focusing on financial services and staffed across major finance hubs. We brought data science to risk management spanning - credit risk, FX, macroeconomic modeling etc.
• I built a custom balance sheet projection and optimization platform (not just a fancy Excel Sheet) and deployed R/Python solution on client infrastructure to help them track and optimize RoE goals for banks. Coming from embedded systems world, this was my first deep dive into software product development and a opportunity to work in cross cultural teams across new geographies.

• This was the start of the e-commerce wave—Amazon had just entered India in 2013, reshaping the retail landscape. We set out on a mission to level the playing field by building a platform for brick and mortar retailers to showcase their collections online before visiting the stores.
• Crafted the platform's supply side value proposition and headed three-member sales team to on-board 30 fashion retailers
• Spearheaded investor outreach to VCs/angel investors and led pitch meetings for raising a pre-seed/seed round
• We realized even if the problem is real, you need a viable path to value capture with sustainable operational costs. Our superpower was failing fast—allowing us to test, learn, and pivot quickly, ultimately saving us time, effort, and resources.

• Drawn to real-world problem solving, we decided to apply our electrical engineering and robotics skills to everyday challenes. We started with building a parking guidance and information system using sensors, signal processing, and embedded systems. We piloted the system in a mall but our quote for final product build was too expensive for the mall for commercial adoption. We pivoted to designing home automation solutions and realized how hard its to take hardware from prototype to production in India. More importantly , it made us realize how not every product has a market and there are more forces at play and it isn't about you can/cannot build.
