• Azure Site recovery (ASR) is a hybrid Azure service which orchestrates automated data center failover in the event of a disaster. The product has been ranked as an leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DRAAS solutions in 2016.
• My team will own the client experiences for the above product. This includes Ibiza portal as well as PowerShell and other client components. My team also owns Migration experiences. Migration involves movement of asset from classic infrastructure to the more recent Resource Manager infrastructure. This is also includes migration of the authentication system. Lastly we also own deployment planning solutions across different hyper visor stacks like VMware and Hyper V.
• I have owned Hyper-V to Azure Scenarios. This is one of the fastest growing scenarios in ASR. As part of this role, I was responsible for service reliability, maintenance, customer issues, and meeting near real time response for the same in above related areas. I was also responsible for new feature requests, ensuring quality for the same and having a smooth role out. My team helped drive reliability numbers close to Azure requirements.
• I have also owned the onboarding experiences across these stacks. The success criteria is to make customers successful in getting their assets protected in the least possible time and with maximum reliability. Onboarding includes on premise infra structure as well and thus the challenge to learn, fix and iterate very fast on premise components as well to be able to achieve the above goal.
