• Lead a team of 4 engineers to re-write and deprecate a 6YO monolith microservice running 30K+ of python 2 code taking care of Blinkit's product listing APIs at a scale of 1M requests per minute. This service today handles close to 1M requests per second.
• Worked with modern FastAPI framework and non-blocking IO to reduce P99 latency by a staggering 80% and average by 60%
• Streamlined the navigation of the ever increasing product inventory by building search & filters backed by Elasticsearch
