• Being the Co-Founder and CTO at an early stage tech startup was as exhilarating as riding a roller-coaster. The highs of onboarding your first large client and watching your software change their way of working for good to the lows of taking the hard decisions needed to survive as an organization during crunch times. The ride starts off with bouncing ideas and building prototypes with your best buddy, then it gets exciting with that first funding cheque from a major VC fund, then comes the hard part of finding ways to deploy those funds by taking calculated bets on people and partners, then comes the heart-breaking part of pivoting when things don't work out the way you planned, then comes the gritty re-building phase when the real character of those around you is revealed (along with your own true self). The end may or may not be the exit you dreamed off but you will always look back on the journey the way you exit and amusement park ride... Just so glad that you decided to take the chance!

• 5Shells was our just-out-of-college experiment to create a way to make it fun to learn business skills through games. Our best product was Kingpin, a board game that makes you better at Negotiation. We got as far as having Kingpin accepted as a part of the core curriculum for MBA students at IIM Bangalore. Apart from that, we experimented and learned a lot about game design and game UI/UX both online and offline. Few of our experiments with Facebook games were especially rewarding!
