When I was a kid I went through this strange stage of wearing a big plaster on my eye, underwear on my head and over-sized wellies. At all times. My family were worried about me and people were generally quite startled by my appearance, but I didn't care. I wanted to do things differently. It made me happy. And it's given my family endless photographic ammunition to show to girlfriends down through the years, so now they're happy too and not (too) concerned. The point of this story is that, even though most of our carefree-ness is shamed out of us by the time we reach adulthood, I still like to do things differently, both personally and in the experience I give my stakeholders. When I'm not at work, I enjoy reading books that make me realise how little I know, watching movies that move me and spending time with those who matter most. That's enough for me.
