I use simple scoring frameworks that cut interview time by around 30 percent and keep everyone focused on skills and fit instead of bias and gut feeling. It works just as well for tech as it does for operations because a clear process beats chaos every single time. For me the work does not end when someone joins. I check in at six months and twelve months to see what worked and what did not. First year retention stays above 90 percent and that is the metric I take most seriously. Today I manage a team of more than thirty Talent Acquisition professionals and oversee a live pipeline of more than one thousand candidates across different functions. The hard part is keeping it personal at that scale, but I still do my best to make sure people feel seen, not just processed. I started my career in customer support, moved into subject matter expert and team lead roles, handled client coordination and then moved into recruiting. Every step taught me the same thing. Good hiring is not about filling a seat. It is about understanding the person, the role and what actually works for that specific team.
