About

A technology product manager with 8+ years of experience specializing in building intuitive user experiences, solving hard engineering problems, incubation of new products and concepts, and end to end delivery of large scale enterprise and consumer products from an idea to shipping and growing its user base. I was a part of the original leadership team working on Microsoft Teams since it’s inception in 2015. As Chief of Staff to to the VP of product, I’ve had the unique learning opportunity to help craft out the product vision and see that vision unfold to become the fastest growing software in Microsoft’s history with 75M+ daily active users. In 2016, I took on the responsibility to help design and build the next generation of calling and meeting experiences for Microsoft in Teams. I relocated to Prague to hire and build a strong and qualified PM and Design team and was responsible for building the modern calling and meeting experiences within Teams which now serves as the primary online meetings solution for millions of Office 365 customers. Lead a team of 4 Program Managers to build a brand new cloud based calling and meetings product as part of Microsoft Teams in Office 365, actively used by over ~75M users every month.
Built and delivered on a multi-year public feature roadmap that enabled many of our largest O365 customers (100k+ employees) to successfully migrate from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams for Meetings.
Collaborated closely with usability, design, engineering and our customers to identify the core meeting scenarios, and shipped features to enable those end user scenarios. E.g. seamless meeting join, anonymous join, meeting lobby, recordings, desktop/ppt/window/whiteboard sharing, in-meeting chat, etc.
Lead a cross functional v-team focused on improving meeting quality; defined metrics that reflects the user perceived quality of meetings; built features and coordinated engineering efforts to meet quarterly set goals for those metrics.
Successfully collaborated with several teams in Microsoft (e.g. MS PowerPoint) as well as 3rd party SAAS applications (e.g. InVision) to integrate their services into the meetings experience by building a robust meetings platform.
Executed on several key innovations in meetings; from ideation to shipping to increasing awareness & usage. E.g. Meeting companion scenarios, meeting object, connected meeting lifecycle etc. many of which have patents in progress.
Hired and nurtured a high functioning team of 4 PM’s in Prague: enabled 3 of them to move to their next career stage.
