About

Rob Newlan has spent the past quarter century exploring the sweet spot between creativity, technology, and human connection — from the global boardrooms of Netflix and Meta to the flour-dusted kitchens of hello JoJo, his restaurant-bakery in South London. His journey began in classic brand management with Unilever, Diageo, and Coca-Cola, before he helped shape the creative future of some of the world’s most influential companies. As co-founder of Meta’s EMEA Creative Shop, he built a new model for how brands communicate in a digital-first world. At VICE, he served as President and CEO of Virtue Worldwide, leading teams across London, Brooklyn and beyond to redefine what a modern creative agency could be. Later, at Netflix, he guided creative production across EMEA — helping entertainment travel across borders and audiences. After years at the forefront of global creative transformation, Rob launched Not a Crumb Group — a platform for building ideas that blend creativity, culture, and craft. Its flagship, hello JoJo, brings together hospitality, design and storytelling — proof that the best brands are lived, not just marketed. Warm, curious, and driven by a restless optimism, Rob’s leadership style is both visionary and deeply human. Whether scaling a global brand or founding a start-up, he builds teams that dare, deliver, and care. Industry speaking and jury member at events around the world including: Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Dubai Lynx, Most Contagious, D&AD, Loeries, IAB, Guardian Talks, Media Week, Creative Week, Design Week, AdWeek Europe, Effies, PIA, Club de Creativos, Art Directors Club Italy, Crystal Apples LeBook, Gulltaggen.
