  • As a founding engineer, I built Beatoven.ai's music generation product. My contribution was mainly in setting up our audio-heavy web application (Next.js frontend and Python backend) and underlying infrastructure (AWS/ECS/Fargate) but I also touched (in varying depths) various other aspects of our product including LLMs and other deep learning models that we used.
  • As our application and our team grew, I setup processes and tools for smooth operations involving continuous deployments, monitoring, and scaling. As a lead, I provided technical guidance to help my team to effectively build and operate our application.
  • Throughout this journey, I was also closely involved in building product roadmap and strategy.

  • Working with the infrastructure team in close collaboration with dev teams to build scalable and reliable service for Grofers customers.
  • Worked on restructuring our AWS infrastructure to support growing number of teams and projects
  • Automated creation of base infrastructure resources (VPCs, subnets, gateways, etc) using Terraform
  • Improved the autoscaling workflow using Ansible which led to more maintainable and faster EC2 boot scripts
  • Setup an alerting system based on Consul that allowed customizable routing of alerts for different teams and projects. Also built an Ansible module for devs to configure alerts for their services
  • Worked with dev teams in migrating to the first generation of micro-services from a monolithic system
  • Later, I was an early members of the Grofers web dev team. As part of the small team, I helped build Grofers.com's shopping platform on web. We spent a lot of time to figure out the right set of tools for the project which were React, Redux, and Webpack at that time. Besides building features at a fast pace, my major focus in this project has been around performance and reliability.

  • At BrowserStack, I was a key developer in mainly two projects -
  • Mobile Device Cloud -
  • developing the services responsible for video streaming, device bootstrapping, communication and monitoring
  • setting up datacenter for hosting android/ios devices
  • managing infrastructure consisting of devices, host machines (linux/mac minis), networking equipment
  • optimizing network utilization within the datacenter
  • writing scripts for automated deployment across several host machines and devices
  • Local Testing -
  • wrote major parts of the distributed tunnelling system which enables the local testing feature on BrowserStack. It involved a combination HTTP and SOCKS proxy servers, and client programs that establish a long-lived tunnel with BrowserStack's servers.
