We determine the impact and threat of such events on the community and issue safety checks to affected communities of Facebook users to allow users to mark themselves safe and offer or request help from their community.

• I joined Environmental Resources Management (ERM) as an Intern under the Impact Assessment and Planning (IAP) Team from January to April 2018 where my responsibilities included supporting Environmental Impact Assessment background research, analysis and presentation of data, as well as report writing primarily for sections related to Geology and Hydrogeology. I was also able to use GIS to present and analyse information spatially. The internship also involved field work for the Contaminant Site Management Team and Report Writing for Environmental Health and Safety Due Diligence for the Transaction Services team.
