About

I have previously worked as a Verification Engineer at ARM Embedded Technologies. I was involved in the Performance Analysis of A class CPUs via emulation. As part of Performance Benchmark CPU Analysis Team, I have worked on benchmarks like Speedometer, Geekbench, Dhrystone, Coremark,etc. I have even automated certain flows using Python and Shell scripts. Previously, I have worked on A-class cores (Cortex A7 and Cortex A5) which involved creating a wrapper around CPU IP, integrating L2 cache separately (for Cortex A5) and enabling tarmac flow. The system is stitched using an Integration Framework and simulated using QuestaSim. I have also worked on enabling CoreSight in the system. Prior to this, I have worked in Intel for one year as an intern. There, my project involved creating TLM based Emulation Trackers for Memory/Cache Interfaces based on Sytem Verilog and C++. The conventional methodology was replaced with a new Technology for efficient migration of function calls to emulation. The new trackers were elaborated and simulated using Synopsys VCS. Semiconductors fascinated me ever since I started studying about them in school. Luckily, ended up pursuing Electronics in college. It broadened my horizon towards it. When 'Digital Design' was introduced to me in college, it made me all the more interested into the design and functionalities of things we use on daily basis. Some of the relevant courses I have done are Computer Architecture, Analog and Digital VLSI Design, FPGA Programming, Microprocessor and Programming Interface, Digital Signal Processing and Object Oriented Programming.
