• Allowed staff to limit the amount of time users used network
• Allowed for easy "NETSEND" messages.
• Network restrictions based on user groups (Child/Adult)
• The key function however was to allow users to be put on a waiting list which would print and assign numbers for waiting users. The printout would also give an approximate time of when the workstation would become available. Once a workstation became available, numbers would flash on a digital board outside the computing center. If workstation was unclaimed after "x" amount of time, the next number would then appear.
• This technology is still in place.
