About

I didn’t plan a business career. I built one by chasing problems. After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer in 2017, I took the entrepreneurial route - building across travel, F&B, and retail. It started with Traverse Tours, a travel agency I ran for 7+ years. While helping people explore India, I noticed a consistent gap: transport was the weakest link in an otherwise great holiday experience. That insight led to Travapp - a platform where travellers could choose their chauffeur and vehicle transparently for their holidays. We saw early traction until the pandemic hit two months after launch. During lockdown, I pivoted. I built a healthy food cloud kitchen, scaled it into a full-service restaurant, and eventually exited. Then moved to Bengaluru to explore a new space - vending retail. In 2022, I launched Vendo - one of the first vending retail brands inside Bengaluru Metro stations. We built a strong on-ground presence before exiting the business. Across these 7 years, one thing stayed constant: Understanding what people value, what breaks their experience, and what makes them come back. Today, I bring that lens to MakeMyTrip, where I build holidays and experiences combining startup thinking with scale.
