I’ve spent the last few years working closely with ecommerce businesses in the UAE, mostly around marketplaces and D2C. A lot of my work has been on Amazon UAE, Noon, and similar platforms, where the real challenge is not just growth, but keeping costs, margins, and operations under control. I don’t look at ecommerce as just ads or listings. Most of my role has been about taking business decisions — what to scale, what to slow down, where money is leaking, and how growth can actually turn into profit. I’ve handled GMV and P&L calls, managed large marketing budgets, and worked closely with fulfilment and logistics teams when scale starts breaking things. My background is a mix of large brands, fast-moving startups, and founder-led businesses. That’s helped me stay practical. I’m comfortable getting into details when needed, and stepping back to look at the bigger picture when decisions matter. I care more about building stable, repeatable ecommerce businesses than chasing short-term spikes. I work best in roles where ownership is clear and outcomes matter.
