About

I, Dr. Srishti Shankar, MDS (Periodontology), am currently working as a Faculty (Assistant Professor) of Dental Sciences, at Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences, BBDU, Lucknow. I have numerous articles, books and chapters to my credit, along with two patents as well as applied for, under the Government of India. I have also won accolades at conferences for paper presentations, held in various States and of different Associations/Societies. Previously, I have worked as a Medical Officer, in Hospital Based Cancer Registry (HBCR) at the prestigious King George's Medical University, Lucknow, on an ICMR funded project. Research is my first love and writing second. Hence, to combine the two, I have also served as a Senior Medical Writer for a publishing house in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, I have recently stepped into the world of content creation, and have a channel on YouTube - 'Daanto ki Doctor'. Actively learning the nuances this field has to offer, with the aim of "edu-taining" (education+ entertainment)! Hoping to build a community where dental students/aspirants and general public gains equally. I hope to "connect" with people from my fraternity as well as other spheres to learn, implement and grow.
