• At Sreya Seth Design, an interior design firm, I worked as a project architect. My main role was to manage projects from start to finish, which involved coming up with creative concepts, designing functional spaces, working on cost estimates, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely project completion.
• During my tenure, I had the opportunity to work on various projects in different locations. Notably, in Naldhera, Shimla, I designed a clubhouse and holiday homes. I also contributed to commercial projects such as the offices for Homage Advisers, JSA Associates, and Panag and Babu. Additionally, I had the privilege of working on the interior design of a villa in Bangalore. Presently, I am actively engaged in residential interior projects in Gurgaon and Goa.
• In addition to my project management responsibilities, I also had the chance to develop a new website prototype for Sreya Seth Design. This project allowed me to combine my design skills with web development to create an online platform that beautifully showcases our work and design philosophy.
• Throughout my journey at Sreya Seth Design, I learned how to manage projects effectively while paying meticulous attention to every detail. I collaborated closely with a team of professionals to ensure that our projects not only met but exceeded the expectations of our clients. • During my one-year freelance journey, I commenced on an exciting architectural endeavor that allowed me to exercise my creativity and expertise. Working individually, I dedicated 16 months to the development of a remarkable project—a holiday getaway treehouse located in the serene town of Pauri, Uttarakhand.
• The project aimed to create three distinctive treehouses and a future residence, providing a unique and enchanting retreat for visitors. With the client granting me creative freedom within the budgetary constraints, I had the opportunity to explore a wide range of possibilities while ensuring the utmost feasibility and sustainability.
• Extensive analysis and design work played a pivotal role in this project. I spent nearly two months delving into a comprehensive study of the terrain, encompassing factors such as flora and fauna, climate, sun path, and the availability of locally sourced materials. This meticulous analysis served as the foundation for the subsequent design iterations, allowing me to create a harmonious blend of aesthetics, functionality, and structural integrity.
• Throughout the journey, I collaborated closely with the client, adapting the design to their evolving needs and preferences. This iterative approach ensured that their vision was realized, while also adhering to the principles of sustainable architecture and the inherent beauty of the surrounding natural environment.
• My freelance journey provided me with the opportunity to showcase my skills, embrace creative freedom, and immerse myself in a project that celebrated the harmony between architecture and nature. • As a project architect at Studio Aureole, I had the opportunity to contribute my skills and expertise to the exciting 'Back-to-Source' restaurant project. This unique concept centered around sourcing organic groceries directly from local farmers, aligning perfectly with our firm's commitment to sustainability.
• Working diligently on this Indian subcontinent restaurant, I focused on creating a space that combined the culinary arts with a state-of-the-art kitchen. The project demanded my constant presence on-site, where I dedicated my days to refining drawings and overseeing the skilled craftsmen and masons. Despite the challenges, we managed to successfully complete the project before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
• The 'Back-to-Source' restaurant quickly became a must-visit destination in Chandigarh, capturing attention and garnering recognition. It has been featured in various articles, reviewed on History Channel TV18, and even showcased in Bollywood movie called 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.' (Available on Netflix)
• Joining Studio Aureole as a project architect allowed me to apply my passion for sustainability, design, and the culinary experience. The success of the 'Back-to-Source' restaurant stands as a testament to our commitment to creating innovative spaces that embrace eco-friendly practices.

• During my second semester of internship, I had the opportunity to work on captivating projects in Auroville, where I delved into the realms of creativity and sustainability. One of the significant undertakings was participating in a competition for the landscape design of Matrimandir. Our team embarked on the challenge of envisioning a harmonious blend of nature and architectural elements, aiming to create an awe-inspiring experience for visitors.
• In addition to the competition, I was involved in the renovation of a farmhouse in Auroville. This project required a delicate balance between preserving the classical charm of the structure while infusing contemporary sustainable elements. It was a thrilling endeavor to witness the transformation of the farmhouse, breathing new life into its timeless design.
• Moreover, I had the pleasure of conducting a workshop at the last school of Auroville, where I engaged with students aged 14 to 16 years. The workshop focused on exploring the interplay of light and shadow in architecture. Through visual demonstrations and hands-on exercises, I guided the students in building sketches and 3D models of a labyrinth. The culmination of their efforts was showcased in an exhibition, which invited parents and citizens of Auroville to marvel at their creations.
• During this internship, I not only refined my technical skills but also had the opportunity to mentor and inspire young minds through immersive workshops. It was a rewarding experience to witness the fusion of imagination and craftsmanship, fostering a deeper appreciation for the power of architecture to shape the world around us.

• During my internship at Studio Aureole from January 2018 to June 2018, I had the privilege of being part of a small yet impactful firm. As the sole intern working alongside the principal architect, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in every aspect of the design process, from initial concepts to project execution on-site.
• Throughout my time at Studio Aureole, I actively contributed to a diverse range of projects, including large-scale residences, sustainable farmhouses, and even a notable commercial endeavor: the design of a retail store for Apple. These experiences allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in designing spaces that cater to various needs and aspirations.
• One of the most enriching aspects of my internship was the weekly design workshop held at Coveda. This collaborative platform brought together both students and seasoned architects, fostering an environment of creative synergy. Engaging in core design thinking processes, we collectively tackled challenging projects, pushing boundaries and exploring innovative solutions.
• My internship at Studio Aureole not only honed my technical skills but also nurtured my ability to translate ideas into tangible outcomes. Working closely with the principal architect, I gained invaluable hands-on experience that laid a strong foundation for my future endeavors in the field of architecture.
