How I got here: I grew up in a small town in Scotland and moved to London to chase something bigger. 2020: Started in M&A at KPMG - good corporate job, but I knew I wanted more, so I walked away from it. 2021: Joined a crypto startup as part of the founding team. Raised $3M led by Speedinvest. 2022: I met Ibrahim Khan and joined IFG / Cur8 Capital as the first hire on the investment team. Over the next 3 years we grew to a team of 50 and scaled from $20M to $200M in investments. I learned from incredible operators, and got a front-row seat to how Muslim founders actually build. 2025: I quit to start my own company with a baby on the way - no co-founder, no product, no idea. Raised $500k, then gave it all back as it wasn't what I wanted to spend the next 10 years on. 2025: I launched Muslim Founder. I wanted to build a way to open the door for everyone else.
