Graduated as an engineer and having worked in tech for close to 2.5 years, I found my calling in Product Management. I cultivated a few of the vital skills required for this domain while growing up. I take pride in knowing that I come from a resource-constrained place. This has made me resilient and enabled me to focus on finding solutions to problems. It also instilled a sense of empathy in me. IIM Calcutta was instrumental in giving wings to this dream. Its flagship MBA program helped me build business acumen while equipping me with skills, confidence and resources. I got my first breakthrough in the world of product management at Paytm, where I was one among 24 employees (out of 80+ recruits across campuses) who got selected for the first Paytm leadership development program. I got the chance to work in two different business verticals (Paytm Money and Paytm Flights) for a duration of three months each. I’m currently working in the central product team and involved with feature development for the Paytm Homepage. Moving forward, I hope to apply the knowledge and insights I have assimilated here by interacting with senior leaders and seeking their invaluable inputs on my projects, to my future stints in product management over the coming years. By leveraging these learnings, I aim to further excel in my role and make meaningful contributions to this field of product management and work towards improving customer experience. Besides, I’m passionate about learning new things. In my free time, I like to read books, watch web series, cook food and spend time with close friends and family. I wish to constantly learn, unlearn, adapt and evolve with a growth mindset that can help me become someone who has the rigour and might to overcome challenges while having the kindness and compassion of being a good human being.
