• At RBS, I work with shared services ( single trade store) of the investment bank. Our application interacts with many upstream and downstream systems across the bank. It ensures that the data received from multiple source systems is passed on to downstreams in an accurate, consistent and timely fashion. Thoroughly decorated facts with appropriate dimensions so that consumers can interpret it and pass it to their business , financial, regulatory, reporting and other users.
• My responsibilities include:
• 1.Managing the end to end deliveries for various regulatory and transformation programs . This involves communicating with stakeholders at all levels right from senior business stakeholders , front office systems, business analysts, developers, QA, support and consumer systems .
• 2. My role involves active involvement in defining the architecture, end to end data flow of the application.
• 3. Understanding the bank's transformation strategy and define the plans accordingly taking into consideration business priorities, technology work stack, dependencies, interim state, target end state.
• 4. Besides managing the deliveries, I also manage the QA and Production Support teams of my unit.
