As a participant of MEC 2025, I conducted a study on MTJ cytometer for diagnosing CTC cancer markers.
Over first 3 weeks of Camp, I designed and produced a PCB board with a commercially used sensor to serve as a proof of concept. After testing and verifying that the system could work, I moved to a cleanroom laboratory to assist in the development of our own sensor.
The fabrication process involves photolithography, etching, metal deposition, and creating electrical contacts.
The result of our cleanroom work was a chip containing multiple sensors. Characterization and testing of these sensors demonstrated that they are highly stable and sensitive to magnetic field variations.
