• IOX Project*: Spearheaded the development and deployment of Cisco-signed and third-party applications on Cisco Switches and Routers, utilizing LXC and Docker containerization to ensure seamless integration and efficient resource allocation. This project enabled the hosting of diverse applications on Cisco's networking infrastructure, enhancing network functionality and flexibility.
• ACL (Access Control List) and Hawkeye Project*: Contributed significantly to the design and implementation of ACL and Hawkeye, a cutting-edge firewall inspection solution. This solution classifies traffic based on Security Group Tags (SGT) and Destination Group Tags (DGT), enforcing policies and redirecting traffic to firewalls for inspection. This ensured granular control over network traffic and enhanced security posture.
• Cisco TrustSec*: Implemented and managed Software Segmentation solutions, leveraging Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to dynamically permit or deny traffic based on user roles. This solution ensured that access to network resources was strictly controlled, reducing the attack surface and improving overall network security.
• Identity-Aware Networking (SANET)*: Played a key role in the development of Identity-Aware Networking solutions, focusing on end-user authentication using 802.1x, MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB), and web authentication. This ensured secure network access, enforcing policies based on user identity and reducing the risk of unauthorized access. Also supported legacy L2 protocols. Supported the Customers on their deployment and issue found in the field.
