• Germin8 is a social media analytics startup which fetches client related data from all the major social media platforms and provides insights.
• Implemented web crawlers and scrapers for Facebook Reviews, Groups and Direct Messages for data pertaining to our clients using Facebook APIs or Selenium. This allowed clients to get more feedback for their products.
• Reduced Cloud billing for the product by migrating codebase to use Google Cloud Storage instead of Amazon S3 and optimizing the current pipeline by reducing unnecessary computations.

• Achievements:
• Migrated the current code from Twitter API premium version to Twitter API free version. This reduced the API costs to zero while maintaining and fetching the same amount of tweets/content despite free version limitations.
• Created a component for tagging live data according to an ontology structure (tree structure with tags as nodes). This allowed us to give interesting and more granular charts and dashboards to our clients.
• Developed a graph dashboard to represent metrics like tonality, sentiment , staff performance of each branch of a business using data from Google Business Reviews (Google Maps).
• Developed a chatbot for a client which would respond to first level queries on Twitter DMs, tweets and Facebook messages. This helped in decreasing the workload of the tier 1 support team.
• Created an Alexa app which returned infographics based on brand sentiment, buzzwords and top news for clients.

• Client: Fortune 500 American Telecom company.
• Project: developing features and maintaining a software which would manage field technicians and their work orders related.
• Worked as the technical oversight for my scrum team, it involved owning and implementing two critical SOAP/REST Web services invoked by 20+ upstream clients, collaborating with senior architects and being the code reviewer for my team.
• Optimizing technician job (work order) assignments by creating a component which would find the next job to be assigned to a technician as per configurations like severity, location.
• Decreased the latency of a module by 10% which would fetch data from 25+ different tables.It was achieved by removing redundant code and writing efficient SQL queries (Common Table Expressions).
• Successfully migrated 20+ different web services to a newer system.
• Won 4 different awards in my whole tenure including Apex Award and Pinnacle Award.
