• I was responsible for building out features on both Client and Admin app.
• I was mostly responsible for building out the new UI on both client and admin side as well as planning for architecture of central notification system.
• Building out new features such as new client UI & building out new interface for admin dashboard, extending the asset uploads features with ability to add client & sponsors logo, fixing old system bugs such not being able to extract event location from google APIs etc as well as building out new APIs in our serverless architecture.
• I was responsible for building out the architecture and core functioning of central notification system and lead 2 epics for development of the same.
• Our admins were not able to react to notifications due to large volume of them and missed critical events where human intervention was needed. To completely remove this and bring only the required subset of notifications to them, I created this system. We built out the core functionality using AWS SQS and Lambda functions, with dynamodb storing the information for payload as well as admin level filters, to sending and receiving the notifications in our admin dashboard.
• I was actively part of bi-monthly business meetings where our co-founders were listing the pain points of internal and external users and asked us to come up technical solutions for the same.
