• 1. Worked on designing and development of a Unified Library Index which serves as a single source datastore for all book related information for Kindle & Retail, previously spread across multiple different services.
• This unblocked possibilities of developing new features earlier cut off due to tight latency requirements as well as IMR savings with reduced cost and maintainence effort of the service.
• 2. Collaborated with sister team Evergreen-100 for their 100% conversion goal of Kindle e-books to Amazon Proprietary format.
• Worked on an ever growing live catalogue of millions of books and identified algorithms to support multiple conversions steps within a very short period of time and designed multiple components of the system from scratch.
• 3. Parallely to above, led efforts by another sister team (YJOP) who were working towards similar features. Led a team of 3 for support of Links, Images and Image Selection for Amazon's Proprietary format in Amazon store e-books. Developed the algorithms, design from scratch keeping reuse of existing systems in mind to deliver the feature super quick by mid Feb instead of estimated delivery of June end.

• 1. Worked on improving, maintaining cross platform graphics library for office apps and enabling hardware acceleration across all office apps through it allowing a perf gain of ~20% on average.
• 2. Working on implementing a Custom Compositor for Office Applications which is projected to allow a perf gain of upto 50% on average for Office Applications by allowing an efficient way to hardware accelerate entire application natively .

• I was part of BEAM team and worked on creating REST-ful APIs to speed up data ingestion process for customer. The project was in a budding stage and hence everything from development to testing of the APIs were to be handled by me - under guidance and suggestions of my mentors. Further the APIs were expected to be designed keeping future use cases in mind as well so that the project is as flexible as possible to meet future demands.
