Hi, I’m Aishi, an MBA student at IIM Calcutta (Batch of ’28), originally from New Delhi. After four years of Mechanical Engineering at IIT BHU (read: a healthy dose of thermodynamics and everything in between), I’m finally letting my management side take the front seat. I’ve always been more focused on figuring out what I truly want to do rather than just following the expected path. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was a little more curious about people, markets, and decisions than machines, which naturally led me toward strategy, marketing, and business development, where I can combine structured thinking with creativity. Having early exposure to industrial management during my undergrad helped shape this shift even further. A large part of my college life has revolved around what I enjoy most - problem-solving, leading teams, and diving into case competitions that push me to think on my feet. I’m particularly drawn to conversations that challenge my assumptions and push me to think differently. I enjoy planning ahead (I usually have a rough roadmap of the next few months… okay, years), but I’m equally comfortable adapting when things don’t go as planned.
